Who Is Candace Blair?
Hi there! Thank you for visiting a little about a lot. I know my website may sound a little weird but the name is a true description of who I am. I got it from my step-dad who told me as a teen, “it’s always better to know a little about a lot rather than a lot about a little.” I didn’t quite understand it then but it always stuck with me and is now the definition of my entire being.
I am a multi-passionate individual not quite the SME of anything. I proclaim to be Jesus’ sister, which makes me God’s daughter, I’m a trap music lover, I have hair ADD, I’m a life long learner, a Jill of all trades, a golden child because it sounds awesome to say, I live on the wild side (as I get older with caution), a world traveler, mom of an adult son, a passionate writer, landmark lover and most importantly to me right now, a purpose seeker!
Isn’t there something inside of you that wants to know why you are here? I am currently on a quest to become who God wants me to be but first I have to address the last roadblock of self examination that many are too emotionally intimidated to initiate a discussion about, mental health. African American culture is known for having generational curses that get passed down without our permission. My goal is to address what I mentally inherited face on. It’s going to be (and has been) a hard, tears flowing, snot slinging battle but I won’t let what has been silently destroying us hold me back from my destiny.
I challenge you to embark on this journey in your life also. Turn your hurt into a life you never imagined living. I pray my path to finding me through my world explorations inspires you in some much needed way for a better you ❤️
