Wanderlust Treehouse - Crane Hill, AL
If you’ve ever wanted to stay in a treehouse here’s your chance! My desire to do so started when I was child and wishing I had one in my backyard as the little tomboy I was. I never got the treehouse but as an adult, I got to stay in one better than I ever could’ve imagined.
Firefly Treehouses has created the most unique adult experience across the US and in my bias opinion, in the world! If you are ready to try something beyond the traditional hotel or resort stay, this is a good starting point.
Seclusion, relaxation and rejuvenation are just a few of the perks you get when booking this adult only retreat, maximum two occupants. I personally recommend a two night stay minimum (required when booking certain dates) to fully enjoy all that this property has to offer.
If you want to see my review, check out this Instagram post here where I show you from the moment you park what all you must do! Or, watch my YouTube video below.
I honestly couldn’t decide if I liked the inside or the outside of this place the most! Everything is so enticing and you just don’t want to leave! I definitely found lots of inspiration for my own little oasis when I returned home. The bed swing was definitely a first time experience for me and I just did not want to move!
Throw in the outdoor sitting area with a fireplace, the elevated patio deck with a grill and sitting area and my goodness the outdoor shower, it’s no wonder this place is called the “wanderlust treehouse.”
All the amenities you need are here so I strongly suggest going to the store before you arrive so you won’t have to make any trips after you get there. I’m very big on cooking when I travel because it saves money. I brought food from home and used the electric skillet to make my breakfast.
There’s also a microwave and as I mentioned, a grill. All the basic utensils are here but I did bring my Ninja blender to make my açai bowls. The refrigerator is just a mini but should be plenty of space for all your needs with a two person max limit on the property.
I actually arrived at night, much later than I’d planned and if you want to see how that experience (in the woods by myself) went click here. It’s actually quite hilarious! The link will take you to my Instagram highlight of the entire trip.
Finally to the good stuff! If you want to book this Airbnb, click here. It’s located in Crane Hill, Alabama and is definitely worth the road trip for the perfect socially distanced getaway.
If you truly want to spend time outdoors there are activities like hiking and kayaking as well. The owners really thought this stay through to make sure you get what you paid for and then some!
