Hi!

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, experiences in life, and express my unique style here. This isn’t a platform where I gloat about the great things I’m blessed to do. I tell the ugly truths many people are afraid to reveal about themselves with a hope of making life a little easier for someone else. I know all the writing rules but it’s my page so sometimes I follow them and sometimes I don’t. I hope you enjoy a little about a lot.

Where to Find the Tiny Target in Texas

Where to Find the Tiny Target in Texas

Tiny Target West Texas

WHERE IS IT?

If you’ve ever wanted to get some pictures with the “Tiny Target” but don’t know where to find it, this is the post you’ve been looking for! I’ll make it quick if you’re on the road like I was when I was looking for it!

It’s located in west Texas outside of Marathon right off hwy 90. If you aren’t paying attention you’ll miss it! If you Google it, it’ll say it’s in Alpine, Texas which will have you searching all the wrong places. It’s about 35 minutes (depending on how fast you drive) from Alpine going east on US-90 but before you reach Marathon. It’s also called Target Marathon. The map below gives you a better idea of where it’s located in relation to both cities.

WHAT IS IT?

Some say the “Tiny Target” is a response to the Prada Marfa “store” which are both art sculptures but the Tiny Target wasn’t built by famous artists like the Prada Marfa store was. If you want to know more about that store, check out this Instagram post I did on it here. No one knows who built Tiny Target and like the Prada Marfa store, it gets vandalized from time to time. There was a nice couple there painting over the some tagging that had been done to it when I was there.

I hope this quick guide helps if you are in a pinch to find this place like I was! Let me know in the comments if it’s still confusing or if you need more info and I’ll be sure to edit as needed.

Thanks for reading!
